Twenty years of work that didn't fit neatly in one category, and a preference for finding the opening others walk past.
The short version
I'm Jarrod. I find opportunity in the new economy, and I finish what I start.
Twenty years across philosophical research, crypto infrastructure, and community work. I've done primary-source research for long-form philosophical work on the French Revolution, peaceful parenting, Bitcoin, artificial intelligence and much more. I've hosted a weekly technical show for a global blockchain foundation and interviewed the engineers building the protocol for a general audience. I worked trust triage at Coinbase through the 2017 bull run, when real money was on the line and the answers were not obvious.
What I'm doing now
These days I run my own AI tooling on top of frontier models — agents, harnesses, custom assistants. I don't wait for someone to hand me the tooling. I build it.
Currently: husband, new father, home project in progress, AI work daily.

Digital assets and Lightning are the part of my work that maps cleanly onto a blog, so that's what the writing covers. It's not the whole picture. The crypto guides are written for someone starting from zero, because clear documentation was what I couldn't find when I began.
